EBT Unlock Key – 4 Licenses for Bosch Gen1–Gen4

This 4-license package is ideal for riders with multiple compatible bikes, workshops, families or small groups. The EBT Unlock Key allows you to remove the 25 km/h speed limit on four compatible Bosch e-bikes – fully browser-based, with no software installation, no chip, no dongle and no motor disassembly.
Each licence is intended for one compatible bike and can be used independently. The system supports many Bosch Gen1, Gen2, Gen3 and Gen4 e-bikes based on BES1 / BES2. It is not compatible with Bosch Gen1 HMI display, Bosch Smart System (BES3) or bikes equipped with ABS.
Important: If your bike uses Bosch Smart System, please use the EBTsmart Unlock Key instead.
ABS note: The EBT Unlock Key does not support ABS-equipped bikes. If the bike has ABS, it cannot be unlocked with this product. For Bosch Smart System bikes with ABS, only the EBTsmart Unlock Key is relevant – and there only up to 32 km/h.

Not all Gen4 motors are the same – the charging port makes the difference
Bosch Gen4 motors exist in two different electronic architectures:
Round charging port = BES2 → compatible with the EBT Unlock Key
Square charging port = BES3 / Smart System → not compatible
If your Gen4 bike uses the square charging port, it belongs to the Bosch Smart System family. In that case, you need the EBTsmart Unlock Key.
