The EBT Unlock Key is a browser-based solution that removes the 25 km/h speed restriction on Bosch Gen1–Gen4 systems (except Smart System). Each license works once, per bike – permanently. (URL after purchase)

Not all Gen4 motors are the same – the charging port tells you everything:

Bosch Gen4 motors exist in two versions with different electronic platforms:

Round charging port = BES2 → compatible with the EBT Unlock Key
Square charging port = BES3 (Smart System) → not compatible

If you're unsure, check your charging port. If it matches the round plug shown below, your motor is supported.
