Notice: Unexpected Beeping on Ninebot ZT3 Pro D – Update in Progress
Published in 06.07.2025Some users of the Ninebot ZT3 Pro D have reported continuous beeping during rides – even after successful unlocking via the NBT Unlock Key. We are aware of this issue and our development team is actively working on a solution.
IMPORTANT! Good news for all Ninebot ZT3 Pro D users: The issue of continuous beeping after unlocking with the NBT Unlock Key has now been resolved!
Background
During internal testing, all available ZT3 Pro D units were equipped with EU-spec motors. However, recent customer models have unexpectedly been fitted with US-spec motors, which behave differently on software level – especially in how they handle firmware response post-unlocking. This difference cannot be visually detected from the outside, making it more challenging to reproduce the issue directly.
Current Status
Our team is in the process of acquiring a US-motor-equipped ZT3 Pro D unit to develop and test a precise fix. The beeping issue is considered minor and software-related, but it requires targeted adjustment for this specific configuration.
Next Steps
We expect to roll out a solution as soon as testing is complete. Until then, we kindly ask for your patience – the device remains fully rideable despite the beeping.
